STAGES OF HUMAN COMMUNICATION
INTRODUCTION
Human communication is one of the main things that have got its association with the evolution of human kind, without which there would have only been human kind but not the humanity. Such communication has gone through various phases rite from the stone scratching to net chatting and it’s still improving.
Communication is nothing but conveying thoughts and expecting reciprocation. When a human responds to another human and by which both of their action seems meaningful among them, then human communication is said to be established. Human communication can be established through various means such as expressing through sounds, by words, by actions, by using symbols. Rite from the early days where the communication is carried by sounds and stone, it can now be seen in various phases.
EARLY HUMAN COMMUNICATION
Communication in the ancient world is carried out through sounds, symbols, carvings in the rocks. They use to make different sounds to communicate with people .People use to make symbols over the rocks to let others understand what they think and that’s where thinking actually evolved in human being. After symbols was the evolution of words otherwise the alphabets.
MEDIEVAL HUMAN COMMUNICATION
Different symbols at different parts of the world later led its way to different languages. Once the languages evolved it become very easy to communicate between people. But again the problem of distant communication arrived. How to communicate with people living far? Earlier humans use to have messengers where a messenger will travel to distance and convey the message; they also used to train birds for that matter. Then along came the service of postal systems. . Nowadays the use of mobile phone has made it easier to establish the distance human communication in an easier way.
MODERN HUMAN COMMUNICATION
People run their lives in the world of internet now. Apart from providing information, enhancing communication has become the primary concern with the internet. Mails, instant messengers are the main applications used now to carry out communication, There are many applications like yahoo messengers, google talk, yoomba which provides with us the communication, and more over there are Internet based social networks like hi5, Orkut and so on. Emerging through are the net phones, installing web based applications on mobile phones, WAP technologies which provides us communication in a cheaper and easy way.
Apart from exploring these communication methods, there are also certain basic ways of communication like shaking hands, eye contacts which are together referred as body language which mainly concentrates on the behavior issues.
