SmartBits a boon to the Networking and Communication Industry


Internet has become a way of life and communications has become quintessential for all business related solutions. Seamless connectivity and converged networks are the biggest challenges. Communication industry is growing in size and complexity and hence it has become more important to measure the performance of intermediate devices like switches, routers and hubs.

SmartBits (SMB) are the next generation performance analysis system that allows testing, simulation, analysis, troubleshoot, quality assuring, developing, and certifying:

SMB Models:
SMB 10:
SMB 10 is a 20 slot chassis which always uses as an expanding device for other SMB. It has no control and acts only as an expanding device for both SMB 200 and SMB
2000. It is also called as “slave”, since it completely comes under the control of the other SMB.
SMB 200
It consists of a 4 slot analysis system where all smart cards can work with SMB 200.It is also known as “BABY BITS” since it is a down version of SMB 2000. The only difference between the SMB 200 and SMB 2000 is performance time other than this SMB 200 works as effectively as SMB 2000.
SMB 600
SMB 600 holds 2 modules and supports 4GigaByte Ethernet port and 10/100 Ethernet ports. SMB 600 is mainly used in large Scale Industry to analyze the Quality Check.
SMB 2000
SMB 2000 is known for its quick performance because it generates 800 flows per port. The 10 MB Ethernet port accelerates the analysis speed. This system supports all kind of smart cards. The 10 MHZ External Clock is used for latency and timestamps. The Internal Clock reduces the risk of error to 2 parts per million (ppm). It consists of 20 port chassis which has different Ethernet ports to perform multiple tests.
