4G Future Generation Mobile Systems

Introduction:
The fourth generation mobile systems (4G) is a conceptual framework and a discussion point to address future needs of a high speed wireless network that can transmit multimedia and data to and from interfaces with wired line backbone network. This is a research item for next-generation wide-area cellular radio where it is designed as a completely fully IP-based integrated system of systems and network of networks. The objective of this generation is that “The user has freedom and flexibility to select any desired service with seam less interoperability, reasonable Quality of Service (QoS) and affordable price, anytime, anywhere.”

Innovations in the field of Safety and Security

Innovation in Home Security

We almost live in a world, which is completely filled up with robbery and law-breaking. We can’t leave home on to a trip or even to have a sound sleep considering the above threats. According to statistics, homes without alarm systems are three times more likely to be broken into than those that do, which necessitates a home security system.
The home security alarm systems these days are more sophisticated and highly marched ones. Home systems are equipped to find fire, burglar and any invasion. The sophistication of home security alarm systems reaches from noisemakers to a more composite systems. There have been many products by many companies, one of the most significant competitors being Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics. The product consists of control panel connected to telephone line, keypad with video monitoring, magnetic contacts, Passive infra red motion detectors, sound sensors, Smoke detectors and wireless keypad.
The control panel has various interlinked detectors and control units. When an unauthorized entry is observed, the home scheme directs a signaling to the local law enforcement federal agency. In some causes like fire, the security alarm scheme will then spark off an alarm to advise the residents and then dials the local fire department. Keypads with video monitors are usually located near the entrances where the resident can view the person and speak to the person at the door step before opening the door and also to enter the passwords to enter home from outside. Magnetic contacts are placed to safeguard windows and doors. A passive infrared motion detector (PIR) is an electronic security device that detects intruders by "sensing" motion or body heat in the area being protected. Speaking sensors are used to record people speaking, glass breaking, roof breaking and other intrusions. Wireless keypads are provided for the sophistication of the customers to control the component at a certain distance. Thus we can secure our valuables in our home and ourselves in a better manner.

Generating Buy In

The book “Generating Buy-In” by Mark S Walton is a book on mastering the language of leadership. Leaders know how to paint a “big picture” that generates action by tapping into people’s emotions. He also conveys that leaders are the persons who knew how to ask for a commitment and inspire their listeners to take steps toward the goal.

Mark conveys that however well positioned, intelligent we may be, we all need some body to buy in. Buy in means understanding, commitment and action in support of our goals. Followers need not take our lead but they should buy what we sell, accept what we say. There are different step by step processes explained in the book to achieve this.

He strongly emphasizes that strategic stories of a positive future have been the most powerful language of buy-in and the most effective way to influence the human mind is to communicate a story.
He also conveys that strategic stories provide us a framework to fill the gap between the future we want and future our audience or customer wants. Then he explains how to develop a strategic story with setting up a generating buy in goal as initial process. Goal is followed by three processes, they are establishing a strategic story line, develop the story line with audience in mind and call for audience actions. So he explains with dozens of examples of individuals who excelled at persuading people to believe, do or buy from Abraham Lincoln to John Welch. Thus he speaks the language of buy in with great personalities to mold powerful thought and emotion in our listeners. In the final part he speaks about applying this language in our life to achieve our goal, what ever the goal might be.

Human Communication - Redefined

Introduction:
The term communication is nothing but the transformation of information. This is so broad that it cannot be confined to a single paradigm. On my view human communication is the process of exchanging information i.e. conveying and getting back the response between individuals or group. The process of human communication had evolved a lot from Stone Age symbols to today’s modern age language which has its own significance.

European Renaissance

The term Renaissance means where its etymology is from French, from Middle French, rebirth, from Old French renaistre to be born again, from Latin renasci, from re nasci to be born.

This was a particular time period in European history around a period of 1300 to 1600. This can be said as period where there was a drastic change that led to the birth of various technologies. This was a time where people left their religious beliefs and got around the real needs. Initially before the period of renaissance during Middle Ages people were restricted a lot with in the church and the economy was based completely on agriculture. It was during this period exploration and education gained its significance. The society was dominated a lot of central political institutions with an urban commercial attitude. People came off their fears with curiosity and explored a lot. Educational influence, industrial revolutions were influencing people’s life.

According to my view one of the most important of Information Renaissance was the invention of Internet. Internet had its base coming over a long time, which started busting over the recent years. The initiation to internet was brought about by Defence Advance Research Project Agency, a part of United States Department of Defence. Vinton Cerf is often referred to as father of Internet because of his contribution to DARPA.

This term refers to a perceived second generation of web based communities and hosted services which aim to facilitate collaboration, people network and sharing between users.
