Coming into this program I didn't realize how well rounded the degree was. I honestly thought we would be bombarded with technical knowledge. I like how we get so much more than that. I came from a Marketing background with an emphasis on sales and it is nice to see how well management is incorporated into this degree. Obviously, if we are in this program we hope to move up in business and management training is one way to do that.
We hear in commercials all the time about AT&T talking about their 3G wireless capabilities for cellphones. Have they invested in an old technology as Verizon looks to the future. Verizon is talking like they might offer 4G wireless capabilities by the end of next year.
In today's world there are so many areas of technology related industries that you can work for. The Aviation industry is one of those huge industries to work for. There has been many advances in technology in aircraft's as of recently, but one of the biggest involves aircraft's with nobody in them.
The use of the key has advanced over the years. It has gone from a way of starting your car to new and useful applications. Some keys use Bluetooth technology to unlock your car and can start the engine without being in the ignition. Other keys have been made to make it more difficult to steal a car. The new Ford MyKey and BMW smart key are perfect examples of how keys have advanced over time.
During the course of this semester I have done numerous projects. During those projects I have learned about numerous new technologies that are obscure and not widely known yet. One of these technologies is FutureFLEX Airblown Fiber. It is a very interesting concept and may revolutionize the cabling industry.
