WWiT Conference was a huge success!

Yesterday marked the first Women Working in Technology (WWiT) conference at Ball State University, and judging by the excellent turn out and positive feedback, it will not be the last.

The conference brought together a variety of women and men, professionals, peers and students, who are interested in developing a healthy culture and environment where women have opportunities to grow and succeed in IT fields, the business world, and in life.

Thank you to all the speaker and attendees who made this a rich and exciting conference.

Thank you to everyone on the conference committee and student planning committee for contributing their time and energy to this event. Especially Kirsten Smith, whose dedication, vision and direction made this conference possible.

I also want to thank to Dr. Gillette for live blogging this event. Check out his comments on the conference, which are full of valuable tips and information gained from the afternoon events.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed to make this first conference a great success!
